The 837 Mystery (full name: 837 Mystery III) combines the Friendship 837's upper rubber with a modern sponge. This is rather soft, elastic and catapult-strong. This makes the 837 Mystery even faster than the 837, but also more emotional. In passive strokes, the sponge damps comfortably.
This surface is intended for the variable pimple game with more frequent attacking balls and can score by its very high interference effect. However, it is not easy to control, although the sensitivity to incoming rotation can be particularly problematic. On the other hand, the 837 Mystery can be used quite flexibly and also enables an effective undercut defense. Active block balls are also possible, but passive ones are not.
